Lake Bunyonyi

The little lake is believed to be the second deepest lake in Africa after Lake Tanganyika. It is located in the ‘Switzerland of Uganda’ – a name given to it by Sir Winston Churchill upon his visit to the area. Lake Bunyonyi is dotted with 29 Islands with some inhabited and others not inhabited. Activities here include; Canoeing, Swimming, Bird watching and cultural tours
