Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
On arrival at Kilimanjaro international airport, You will be picked by our representative and transferred to you accommodation in the midst of a coffee plantation. Depending on the arrival time, you can choose to visit the Maasai market or the Tanzanite museum for some souvenirs of the glittering kind. You can also choose to buy souvenirs from the lodge made by a group of people with disabilities called Shanga Shangaa. Otherwise, enjoy the tranquility of the gardens, tour the plantation and get ready for your safari adventure!

Day 2: Transfer to Lake Manyara
After a beautiful night at the lodge, you will start your journey to Lake Manyara national park – the place known for tree climbing lions. The journey takes approximately two hours to the national park. You will drive through Mto Wa Mbu along the way where you can choose to stop by for shopping – either of fruits or souvenirs.
The park is a great start for your Tanzanian safari offering an all round experience as you wait to visit the famous Serengeti.

Day 3: Game drive in Manyara
Manyara national park is offers some of the best game viewing in the world. You can expect to see many of Africa’s most well-known animals, with the tree-climbing lions a particular treat. Bird-watchers will find Lake Manyara is an absolute delight, with a huge variety of birds on display in the park. Even the novice can expect to be amazed by large flamingo flocks, circling birds of prey, and the brightly colored lilac breasted roller.

Day 4: Transfer to Serengeti
After breakfast you leave the lodge and drive via Ngorongoro crater and head towards the Serengeti National Park, leaving the highlands behind, you descend into the heart of wild Africa – the Serengeti National Park – with its endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see. En-route you will visit a Maasai Boma where you will get the chance to see the Maasai performing their traditional dances. You may even get a chance to join in! You then head to the central park area, known as the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, featuring the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti’s species.

Day 5 & 6: Game drives
Spend a full day exploring the vast Serengeti plains. You will rise early to enjoy an early morning game drive. At sunrise, you may encounter animals grazing in the beautiful light of sunrise and predators may still be busy hunting before retiring to rest for the day. Sunrise on the Serengeti is not to be missed and extraordinary photographic opportunities will abound at this magical time of day. You have the option to return to your accommodation for a hot lunch or to opt for a packed lunch which can be enjoyed at one of the various picnic sites found in the Serengeti. After lunch, you will continue on a game drive. Around the time of dusk be on the lookout for lions.
Cheetah can also be spotted on the plains in the early morning and late afternoon when temperatures are not too high. They rely on daylight and speed to catch their prey. Hippo pods can be seen in the bigger pools and rivers while crocodiles can be seen sunning themselves on the riverbanks.

Day 7: Transfer to Ngorongoro
After the beautiful experience in the beautiful Lake Manyara national park, start the journey to the picturesque Ngorongoro Crater checking in to your lodge. In the afternoon, take on a Maasai cultural walk and learn about the local customs, traditional plant uses and ancient stories of the tribal people that call this region home.

Day 8: Game drive in Ngorongoro Crater
Game drives are the key to safari success in the Ngorongoro Crater allowing you to spend a full day reveling in the extraordinary wildlife found in the region. Walks and hikes are a great way to vary your experience and explore the spectacular scenery. While a Maasai cultural walk will introduce you to the local customs, traditional plant uses and ancient stories of the tribal people that call this region home.
